About the service
Installations
New or relocated equipment does not just have to be transported to the target site – it also has to be safely unloaded, moved to its designated position, set in place and prepared for the technical work that follows. An installation therefore starts by checking the conditions on site and ends only when the agreed scope of work has been handed over and is ready for the next phase of the project.
Site readiness decides how the assembly goes
Many installation problems do not arise on the machine itself but around it: an unsuitable access route, an unfinished foundation, a clash with other technology, missing handling space or uncoordinated trades. Before the equipment arrives, it is therefore important to verify that the target site meets the requirements of the planned procedure.
LETKEN can join the project as early as the preparation phase and help define the handling and assembly procedure. On relocated equipment we can also link the installation to the preceding dismantling and transport, so that responsibility stays continuous.
New and relocated technology alike
With new equipment, coordination with the manufacturer or supplier of the technology matters most. With relocated equipment, what matters is the link to the dismantling, the labelling of individual parts and the transport method. In both cases the aim is to eliminate situations where the machine is physically on site but the project stalls because something is not ready or the trades are out of step.
The scope of an installation is therefore set according to the documentation, the manufacturer’s requirements, the readiness of the site and which activities are to be covered by LETKEN and which by the customer, the OEM or another partner.

These conditions are addressed during the project preparation phase.
