About the service
Technical management & maintenance
Industrial equipment has value when it is reliably available to production. Technical management and maintenance are therefore not a reaction to a breakdown, but systematic work with the technical condition of the equipment, planned interventions and operational priorities. Depending on what the customer needs, LETKEN can provide or coordinate technical support for individual machines and for wider technological units.
Maintenance shaped by the specific operation
There is no universal maintenance regime. Equipment running continuously has different requirements from technology with regular shutdowns, and both differ from machines being prepared for a move, an upgrade or a change in production. The point of technical management is to set the scope of support so that it matches how the equipment is actually used and the risks of it being out of service.
The cooperation can be a one-off for a specific technical intervention, or longer term within an agreed scope. Either way, it has to be clear which equipment and activities are covered, how requests are reported and how the work carried out is evaluated.
Prevention pays off where unplanned downtime is expensive
Preventive maintenance makes economic sense above all on equipment whose failure would significantly affect production or the processes that follow. It is not about carrying out the largest possible number of checks, but about sensibly focusing attention on the critical equipment and activities that can genuinely reduce the risk of an unplanned outage.
When technical support is combined with a planned shutdown, a relocation or an installation, several jobs can be merged into a single time window. That reduces the number of separate interventions in the operation and simplifies supplier coordination.
Why handle technical support with LETKEN
- A technical view of the equipment in the context of the whole operation, not just an isolated service call.
- The option to link maintenance with a shutdown, relocation, dismantling or installation.
- A clearly defined scope and clear responsibilities before the cooperation starts.
- Coordination of external specialists where a project calls for trades outside the agreed in-house scope.
Frequently asked questions
Questions & answers
We set the service up according to the type of operation, the technology and the customer's requirements. It can cover individual machines, technological equipment and larger production units. Before we start working together we therefore assess the technical condition of the equipment and the scope of support required.
Yes. Technical management can combine planned preventive maintenance with responsive interventions as the operation requires. The specific arrangement is set individually, taking into account the nature of the equipment, how intensively it is used and the customer's requirements.
The purpose of regular maintenance is to identify technical problems early, limit the risk of unplanned downtime and keep equipment in the required operating condition. The cooperation can also include a record of the work carried out and recommendations for any further measures needed.
Do you need technical support for your operation?
We define the equipment, the critical points and the working arrangement required. We then propose the scope of technical management or of a specific maintenance intervention.
